"It all began for me around the age of twelve, growing up in Southeast Michigan I began working with my dad Harvey Satterfield. In those days you worked or you didn’t eat and your word was your bond. I learned the ropes "on sight" with my dad installing siding, windows and roofing. People were amazed at how by the age of fifteen I was running the jobs from start to finish. I drive by some of those same homes today and it’s amazing how good they still look over these many years. My dad definitely pushed me to have the drive and determination it takes to be successful in this business.

After the death of my father we changed our name to Home Care Improvement because that was always dads vision to see people smile because of the care we always put into every home we touch. Now I’ve brought up my sons with that same legacy to do what we say with integrity. My son Scott is Vice President, son Joe is our Marketing Manager, son in law Israel Ortiz is one of our Sales Representatives and the majority of our installers are family. So when we say family owned and operated we mean it.  We are not just guys in a suit selling something we know nothing about; we have all gotten our hands dirty and still do if needed.

Now years after dad is gone we are still letting his legacy live on and will continue putting smiles on customers faces for generations to come."
